City of Fairfax Holiday Craft Show

This weekend I will be in Booth 060 at the City of Fairfax Holiday Craft Show. 

It's going to be a big and busy show, and should be a great place to start (or finish) your holiday shopping!

Art on the Avenue 2017

My first art market of the Fall/ holiday season is coming this Saturday, October 7 

with Art on the Avenue in Del Ray (Alexandria) from 10 - 6. 

I had a great time at the show last year, and despite the inclement weather it was PACKED. 

Hoping for gorgeous weather this time! 

The show is free and has food vendors and music stages as well as hundreds of artists and artisans. 

I'm in booth E 25 on the corner of E. Howell and Mt. Vernon Ave.

Old Town Arts & Crafts Fair

This Saturday is the Old Town Arts and Crafts Fair at Waterfront Park in Alexandria. 

There will be around 80 vendors and food trucks so... basically the best day ever. 

I will have prints, cards, and some new original paintings - hope to see you there!

Recently

Whew, I have a lot to catch up on! The past several weeks have been super busy with shows, weddings, traveling, and orders.

Booth at the Anton Art Fair. The weather was great (the storm held off), and we even saw some friends!

new designs (p.s. for anyone who has ever inquired - this is why I don't offer calligraphy services - all my lettering is carefully gridded out on graph paper before I paint it. Very time-intensive, and not at all practical for envelope addressing!)

Mount Clemens Art Fair

I will have a booth at the Mount Clemens Art Fair this weekend in Mount Clemens, Michigan at Macomb Place. The fair is up Saturday, June 6th 11am - 8pm and Sunday, June 7th 11am - 5pm.

Mark your calendars -- It should be a beautiful weekend for art!

Leon & Lulu Summer Artists' Market

Tiny Expo Recap

Tiny Expo was last Saturday at the Ann Arbor District Library and it was great! I took all my photos before the show began, so don't be fooled by the wide open spaces - it was packed with a steady stream of customers all day.

I just can't reiterate enough how much I love indoor shows. haha. I do love nature and the outdoors, but I was blessed with allergies and pale skin...

It was fun to be in a show in Ann Arbor - amazingly short commute! 

Thanks so much to the Ann Arbor District Library for hosting and putting together the event!

That wraps up my 2014 show schedule!

 I still have some paintings at Detroit Artists Market till the New Year, and my Etsy shop is open for orders until Saturday Dec 20th at 3pmEST. After the 18th, you'll need to get expedited shipping, so get those last-minute orders in!

Tiny Expo

Ridge Fine Arts recap!

We had a great time at the Ridge Fine Arts Show this past weekend!

People came to shop, and it was consistently busy all day! So busy in fact, that I forgot to take pics of the whole area and all I have are some booth shots for you. 

Sadly those are all the pics I have, so I wanted to share 2 other businesses that I was introduced to at the show. 

My booth neighbor was Kate of Kate and Louie Handmade. She is super sweet and makes really cute home and kitchen decor, like dishtowels, napkins, and aprons. She is also a graphic designer, and designs some of her own fabrics.

We also made one purchase, and it was from Sugar Wood Bakery by Melanie Brooks. Melanie is also a ceramicist and jewelry maker who recently started a bakery and sweets shop. We bought some gourmet lollipops - green tea apple, pineapple coconut pina colada, and kahula coffee with cocoa nibs. yum. 

 

Thanks to Siouxsan Miller (of Green Daffodil) who co-founded and runs Ridge Fine Arts, and to all the volunteers who helped. It was a great show! 

Ridge Fine Art Show

I will have a booth at the Ridge Fine Art Show this Saturday in Ferndale, Michigan. 

I will have new paintings, Christmas cards, and ornaments along with art prints and greeting cards. Stop by if you're in the area! 

 

Fine Art at the Village recap

Fine Art at the Village in Rochester Hills was a great time! The weather the first day was nice and cool... until we got rained out. boo. (And by rained out, I mean it was storming and 

water was pouring into our tent. Lightning + tent = no.)

The second day of the show, however, was the sunny the entire time with huge crowds. 

Looking forward to the holiday season indoor shows! (what can I say? I'm not big on bugs)
