New collection: Tables & Flowers!

I am so excited to share my newest collection with you all! 

It's called "Tables & Flowers," and every painting in the series, ranging from florals to interiors to tablescapes, features one or both of those items. 

 This series was really an exploration of color and medium. I used Flashe vinyl paint in every painting (along with acrylics and wax crayon), and I had so much fun working with the paints. 

 

The vinyl paint operates very similarly to acrylic paint, but it dries with a soft, velvety texture (whereas acrylics are slightly glossy and shiny upon drying). The colors are AMAZING and they mix with acrylics really well.

This series has 17 paintings, ranging in size from 8x8" to 24x30". 

Part of this collection includes some tablescape paintings. I had SO much fun with these, from designing the tabletop to choosing the featured meal.

I am so excited to offer new notepads in the shop! 

I use notepads everyday (daily to do list, weekly to do list, grocery lists, packing lists, running list of art supplies to order... ), so I was struck with a big duh moment when I thought "um, why don't I just create my own?"

I have three styles: 

Coral floral border on white 

Colorful Cacti Notes on cream:

(for those who aren't quite as flowery as I am but also might have a cactus/succulent obsession. #guilty)

And my Lined Floral To Do list on white:

They are on thick, uncoated paper so writing on them is easy and stress-free.

 I am so excited to be able to offer these pieces as prints! They are super bright and colorful and such fun pieces -- and even more amazing displayed in sets! 

You may remember them from here -- they are all from my 100 Days of Gouache Book project!

I think it might be impossible for me to choose a favorite -- I love the vintagey colors of Ice Blue as much as I love the bright punch of Fuchsia. The original paintings were done in gouache and I am just over the moon about the intensity of the colors.

New state prints!

I just added 9 new state prints to the shop! 

Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Nevada, Oregon, and South Carolina join the line-up. Each was hand-painted with watercolors and features hand-lettering and each state's official flower.

I am now over halfway done with the states! I hope to get a few more done for the holiday season.
