I bought some succulents a few weeks ago. They were so cute and I was excited because succulents are cacti -- totally hard to kill + no spiky points = win!
I then made this adorable sketch to celebrate my victory:

But then my brown thumb of terror took reign and now, I am sad to say, my succulents look like this:

I mean, seriously, a bell jar? One of those self-watering bulbs? A greenhouse?
This is really funny to me, because my attempts to keep plants alive look the same way. Somebody brought over a cute mini rose looking plant after Janie was born, and I managed to water it to death within a week! At least you have the artistic proof that it was thriving at one time.
ReplyDeleteUgh, yeah... I keep telling myself "it will be different when I have a yard," but, Lord help that grass... I'll have to go all Brady Bunch and put down artificial turf.
