Last weekend was Community Art Day at The Corcoran Gallery of Art in DC. I had a table in their juried community art show. My fiance was kind enough to accompany me (like he had a choice. ha.). The Corcoran just happens to be where we had our first date, as is evidenced by this illustration that my fiance drew for my proposal book:
Last weekend was our first trip back to The Corcoran since our first date in 2010, almost exactly 2 years ago. (are you gagging yet?)
There were some great booths and some really interesting performance art pieces (I am 99% sure there were 2 guys dressed as fauns banging sticks together....)
... though given our 7am wakeup time, this was a certain someone's experience...
Bahaha. Just kidding, sweetie! Jason is a great sport and so helpful, and I would not be able to get through these shows without him.
